- Approval requests show up in Approvals; click Approve/Edits/Reject inline.
FAQ
Where do my files live?
Inside your own Google Drive, in a folder named 'CD-Publishing — <project title>'. The portal only sees files inside that folder (drive.file scope).
Can I change my password?
Yes — click Change password in the sidebar. You can also reset via the Forgot password link on the login page.
How do I add a chapter?
On a Stage 1 project, click '+ Add chapter' in the Manuscript Forge section. Paste the Google Doc id when editing the row to enable the 'Open in Docs' deep link.
What's the Gutenberg Score?
A 0-10 readiness signal computed from manuscript completeness, chapter quality, interview coverage, production progress, and editorial freshness. Updated every Observatory load and weekly via exec summary.
Can I export my data?
Yes — visit Account > Edit profile and click 'Download my data'. You'll get a JSON file with everything we have on you.
Who can see my project?
Only you (the project owner), ADMIN/EDITOR/MARKETING_ADMIN users at CD-Publishing, and explicit collaborators you've been added to. Clients on other projects cannot see yours.
How do approvals work?
Anyone on the project can see pending approvals. Who can decide depends on your role: ADMIN any kind, EDITOR chapter/cover/galley, MARKETING_ADMIN marketing/campaign/cover, project owner can decide anything on their own project.
What's the Scribe AI?
Every Monday morning the Scribe synthesizes the past week's idea-log notes into 2-4 proposed book sections. You'll see them with a sparkle badge in Scriptorium.
